What are the responsibilities and job description for the 911 Telecommunicator position at Ohio County Commission?
The Ohio County Communications 911 Center will be accepting applications for a telecommunicator position. Applications can be obtained at the Ohio County Commission office, 1500 Chapline Street, Room 215, Wheeling, WV 26003.
Eligible persons for application must be a US citizen, able to pass a drug test, a background check, and pre-employment testing. Shift work, some weekends and holidays, and occassional mandatory overtime may be required.
This position is stressful and involves multi-tasking, listening, and typing, while sitting for long periods of time. Comprehensive on the job training is provided.
