Job Summary:
Teaching Toddler and Preschool Assistant at ONU Early Child Development Center student employment opportunity available.
Principal Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with snack and clean up
- Assist teachers with center time
- Assist children with activities
- Organize, restock, and maintain supplies
- Assist with class-related activities
- Assist children with questions, materials, and equipment.
- Conduct one on one tutoring sessions with children. (read to them, work on letters and numbers)
- Assist teachers with thorough supervision of children
- Follow Child Development Center’s department policies and procedures
- Come to work as scheduled by supervisor
- Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled as an ONU student
- Good academic standing
- Will need to complete online training through the state of Ohio for orientation and child abuse and neglect training. Will need to complete 6 hours of professional development training annually.
- Will need to complete background check
- Will need to complete CPR and 1st aid
