What are the responsibilities and job description for the VP of Clinical Care position at Ohio's Hospice?
The VP of Clinical Care Essential Duties Are:
The Vice President of Clinical Care will ensure implementation and adherence to Ohio’s Hospice standards; Medicare Conditions of Participation; and systems pertaining to Clinical Operations and ensures organizational growth through best practices, regulatory compliance, quality improvement and staff development resulting in all Southwest Region of Ohio’s Hospice patients receiving quality care and coordination of hospice services in a manner that meets the needs of the patient and family and achieves the desired outcome of comfortable and peaceful death for patients.
VP of Clinical Care Qualifications:
- Master’s degree preferred. Five to 10 years of high-level management experience preferred in healthcare field with emphasis in related product line areas such as homecare and/or hospice care.
- Certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine (CHPN) preferred and will be made available to Ohio’s Hospice employees who wish to obtain certification.
- Ability to analyze data effectively to identify and quantify trends affecting product lines.
- Research Skills

- Valid Driver’s license (Safe Driving Record)
- State Minimum Automobile Insurance Coverage
