Job Description Summary: The Lead APP (Advanced Practice Provider) Hospital is a lead role for Nurse Practitioners working in collaboration with the physician in the hospital-based inpatient setting generally working with a stable patient population. Performs minimally invasive procedures. Includes hospitalists. Responsibilities include but not limited to: organization and maintenance of credentialing, coordinating continuing education opportunities, outreach, orientation, research, and maintenance of personnel files, and scheduling. This position is also responsible for providing day-to-day clinical management of a select group of patients along with an identified Physician Director. This position has prescriptive authority.
