Job Description Summary:
The Project Manager, facilitates progress toward strategic and operational goals for OhioHealth's Shared Services division in alignment with care sites goals and priorities. This position provides project management/consultative support to the Shared Services leadership team and support operations critical to OhioHealth's continued success in all performance measures within the Balanced Scorecard. The incumbent will apply project management knowledge, technical and interpersonal skills, and project management tools and techniques to meet the project requirements of medium to large projects in coordination with system departments. The Project Manager will manage Quality & Affordability Initiatives , Epic , vendor relations and other assigned projects, attend meetings as necessary, provide administrative and research support, complete data analysis projects, prepare presentations, ensure effective and efficient project management, and provide executive summaries for the Shared Services leadership team. He/She will also assist in building relationships with key-internal and external constituents to ensure support for divisional initiatives.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (Required)Hospital/Healthcare administration, business administration, or related field; Or minimum of 5 years relevant Experience in Support Services or related field of operations Understanding of hospital and support services operations Understanding of surgical and procedural techniques Financial analysis Requirements by OSHA, Joint Commission, HFAP, Infection Control, and other agencies that govern the operations of the hospital Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to communicate complex issues and strategies. Experience in working in multi-disciplinary teams and in complex matrix relationships. Excellent relationship and team skills. Strategic thinking. Strong oral and written communication skills. Effective use of personal computer technology for generating reports, trending information and creating presentations. Experience with cultural diverse workforces 3 - 5 years support services and healthcare Experience 1 - 3 years previous project management Experience
