Title: Linux Administrator/Engineer (Sr./Mid)
This is a full-time remote position with one of our clients.
Our client, a leader in Linux HPC Managed Services, is looking for a talented Linux administrator and analyst who is passionate about quality and about learning and implementing well-managed solutions. This position is responsible for the successful delivery of HPC-managed services and projects to the marketplace with the highest levels of customer satisfaction. The solutions include projects, managed services, and software products in the HPC ecosystem.

The job responsibilities include:
· Implement and support HPC technologies at remotely managed customer sites
· Interface with customers to resolve and coordinate projects and issues
· Follow and improve support tools, documentation, and processes
· Train and mentor junior engineers on technologies including Linux and eventually HPC
Desired Skills and Experience
· Working with a service desk/ticketing system at a high-quality level is a must.
· Linux and Networking certifications. Windows is a big plus.
· 4-8 years of experience in implementing and supporting Linux server solutions.
· Excellent server and network troubleshooting skills demonstrated in a large Linux environment.
· Solid understanding of and experience with DNS, NIS, NFS, X-Window, and Remote Access.
· Solid understanding of routers and networking protocols and designs (TCP/IP, DHCP, SNMP, etc.).
· Solid Storage systems (RAID, SAN, NAS) experience
· Shell, Perl Scripting background. Other languages programming experience is a plus.
· Strong team working and building skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
· Experience with Windows Active Directory is a plus.
· HPC Implementation experience is a plus.
· Some travel may be required.
· Bachelor's degree in sciences is a big plus
