What are the responsibilities and job description for the Donor Engagement Coordinator position at OHU Job Board?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Update, maintain, and report from donor records in the CRM system.
• Measures effectiveness of solicitation efforts and reports outcomes and trends with dashboards.
• Works closely with DCC and finance team to reconcile financial records on a monthly and annual basis.
• Streamline agency-wide holiday gift initiative ensuring all contributions are captured and acknowledged.
• Manage portfolio of churches with targeted solicitations to optimize giving.
• Supports all fundraising events including, but not limited to, the annual spring event, golf outing, fall fundraiser, and One Hope United Day.
• Works closely with all members of the Advancement team to ensure project timelines and goals are produced and met.
• Contributes content to the OHU communication channels (website, social media, monthly staff and external newsletters).
• Performs other related duties as assigned
Education
• Bachelor’s degree required. Education in nonprofit management, marketing, or communications preferred.
Experience
• 1-3 years of professional experience
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Experience working with a mission-driven organization
Other
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record with One Hope United’s required levels of coverage for auto insurance
Required Skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Discretion regarding sensitive and confidential material
• Interest in learning the nonprofit sector, fundraising, and donor engagement methods
• Desire to become proficient in CRM (Salesforce)
• Familiarity with MS Office

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

The position requires visual and auditory acuity within professionally determined normal ranges, with correction if need; and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer and office equipment, including, but not limited to, the telephone, computer, and copier.
The employee is occasionally required to move items up to 50 pounds. The employee works in varied residential environments based on assigned caseload and may encounter unpredictable clients. While performing the duties of this position, the employee travels by automobile and is exposed to changing weather conditions. The employee must be able to enter and exit a vehicle or a building without assistance. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may frequently
drive an automobile, taking clients to appointments, in the local and regional area. Occasionally, travel is outside the local area and overnight.
