Summary:
The role of a Facilitator is critical to the Center of Excellence’s success. This role is the main contact and entry point into the COE as it relates to quoting activities. The Facilitator will be responsible for primary communications on quoting status and progress outward to sales and Deal or Onboarding Strategists. The Facilitator is also responsible to ensure that quoting and ordering activity is progressing and removing any barriers which would delay the delivery of pricing required for a request. The Facilitator is also responsible to ensure quality checks are done on all quoting activities to reduce rework or customer irritations by presenting inaccurate information.
Responsibilities:
- Set priorities of request in alignment with Deal Strategist and Manager instructions and assign tasks
- Tracking/monitoring of requests and ensuring progress is being made until the completion of the request
- Manage escalations with other departments when they cause delays with the quoting process
- Interact with other Facilitators and share learnings, best practices.
- Collaborate with Verizon Sales and/or Partners to gather request information in detail.
- Collaborate with Quoters and Address Validation team for the required tasks
- Responsible for the quality and accuracy of all quotes delivered.
- Responsible to meet the Sales/Customer timelines for every milestone of a request
- Coordinates the work of the team operating nature to minimize errors and enhance the proper application working procedures
- Monitor the operation of the team so that individual tasks are performed according to defined processes and procedures
- Daily reporting on status to the bid team and stakeholders
- Adhering to updates in the Workflow tool so that accurate reports are captured and reported
- IT triaging for issues faced during quoting
- Completion of customer spreadsheets for the request
- Team´s productivity and results including meeting KPI´s & SLA´s values
- Managing engagements with other centers as needed
- Develop knowledge of all products and/or solutions offered in VRD and Non-VRD
- Develop knowledge of all departments involved in processing a quote
- Develop process awareness of VRD and legacy quoting and of tools being used
Qualifications:
- Mandatory MS Office / GSuite skills or education
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills is mandatory
- Must possess professional communication skills for phone calls, emails, and executive briefings
- Must have excellent organizational, time, project management and prioritization skills
- Creative problem-solving skills to ensure timelines are met
- Ability to perform under pressure to meet deadlines
- Strong customer service focus
- Ability to work tours (US, EMEA, or APAC hours)
- Strong team collaboration and coordination skills
- Project Management skills
