Housekeeper

Full-Time Gym Housekeeper - Oklahoma Athletic Center

Do you take pride in a clean and healthy environment? Are you motivated and detail-oriented? If so, the Oklahoma Athletic Center is looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team!

In this full-time role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our entire gym facility, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic experience for our members.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and disinfect all gym equipment after use, including weight machines, cardio equipment, yoga mats, and free weights.
• Maintain restrooms with a focus on hygiene and cleanliness. This includes restocking supplies, disinfecting surfaces, and removing trash.
• Vacuum and mop floors throughout the gym, including locker rooms, weight rooms, cardio areas, and common areas.
• Wipe down mirrors, windows, and other surfaces.
• Empty trash cans and ensure proper disposal of waste.
• Report any maintenance concerns or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with members and staff.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a cleaning or janitorial role.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional cleaning services.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent physical condition, able to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation and availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
