Job Summary: | Job Summary: This position is actively involved in clinical
practice at the OSU Behavioral Medicine Clinic. Responsibilities will include
caring for patients in a wide-range of issues. The position will work with
existing behavioral health faculty.
Environmental Hazards: Possible exposure to hazardous materials, hot and cold, blood borne pathogens.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift,
carry push, and pull 20 pounds, stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel,
talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodations. Sufficient to carry out specific job functions of a neuropsychologist. |

Education & Experience |
Position Qualifications: | Required: -Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical counseling psychology from an accredited graduate program or completion of a post-doctoral year -Doctoral internship in psychology from an APA or CPA accredited program -Postdoctoral training in psychology -Eligibility for licensure in the state of Oklahoma -ABPP board certification or board eligibility
Skills, Proficiencies and Knowledge: Requires knowledge of pediatric
or adult school psychology as well as ethical issues involved in the practice
of psychology. Treatment/therapy
opportunities can be provided. Requires strong analytical skills, advanced
multi-tasking skills, advanced problem solving skills, supervisory experience, and
the ability to effectively plan. Computer skills are needed to operate
electronic medical records. Good communication and leadership skills are a positive. Interpersonal skills are required to interact
effectively with faculty, students, clients and providers.
Preferred: -Prior research and/or teaching experience -Two or more years of experience is strongly preferred |
