Manager Fiscal Operations

The position will be charged with the oversight of all units within OSU Global; revenue(s) and expenditure(s), including accounting operations, payroll functions, financial reporting and compliance, and adherence to financial plans. Maintain all records, organize, budget, forecast analysis, financial/accounting/fiscal oversight, compliance with all Federal/State/City/OSU policies and procedures for the following: grants, contracts, state allocated funds, all OSU ledgers, Endowments, Student Organizations, Chairs/Professorships, and OSU Foundation accounts.

Position Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Five years of professional experience.

1. Strong leadership experience, being self-motivated with proven ability to set priorities and to perform responsibilities through own initiative and under direction.
2. Strategic and creative thinker, insightful and curious with a sense of urgency; ability to develop adoptable accounting reports.
3. Experience with developing financial and accountancy forecasts and reports through research collection, analysis, and interpretation of university industry, and public data.
4. Maintains an ethical and professional behavior and professional appearance that is representative of the university image.
5. Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities imposed by anticipated and unexpected deadlines.
6. Possess strong interpersonal skills and sensitivity to a multicultural, diverse social economic environment, working and communicating effectively with all students, faculty, staff, and community partners.
7. Passion for assisting customers and representing the OSU brand with positivity and professionalism.
8. Demonstrated history of ethical and professional behavior.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.

Fifteen or more years of progressive financial experience in accounting, finance, audits, or forensic accounting fields.

Certified Public Accounting and/or a similar certification(s).
