Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Systems Analyst to join our team. As an IT Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing, designing, implementing, and maintaining information systems that meet the technological needs of the organization. You will work closely with various stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure the effective deployment and operation of IT solutions.
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
System Design: Design and develop IT systems, applications, and solutions based on business requirements, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
System Implementation: Oversee the implementation of IT systems, including configuration, customization, integration, and testing.
System Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed systems, troubleshooting issues, applying updates, and ensuring system integrity.
Data Analysis: Analyze data requirements and develop strategies for data management, migration, and integration.
Documentation: Create and maintain documentation, including system requirements, technical specifications, user manuals, and operating procedures.
Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance activities, such as testing, debugging, and performance tuning, to ensure the reliability and usability of IT systems.
Security Compliance: Ensure that IT systems comply with security standards, regulations, and best practices, implementing security measures as necessary to protect data and infrastructure.
User Training: Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate the adoption and effective use of IT systems.
Vendor Management: Liaise with vendors and third-party service providers to evaluate products, negotiate contracts, and oversee the delivery of outsourced IT services.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred)
Proven experience in IT systems analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance.
Proficiency in programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C#, as well as database technologies like SQL.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall, and familiarity with project management principles.
Understanding of IT infrastructure components, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud services.
Experience with enterprise systems, such as ERP, CRM, or BI platforms, is desirable.
Certification in relevant areas, such as Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Professional (PMP), is a plus.
