The Old Dominion University Research Foundation has a current opportunity for a Post-Doctoral Research Associate to work in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Old Dominion University. The ideal candidate must have experience in performing air-free synthesis of organometallic compounds in a glovebox or under Schlenk conditions. Moreover, the candidate must be able to carry out standard characterization experiments such as NMR, IR, UV-Vis, and single X-ray diffraction. The candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Chemistry being either Organic or Inorganic.
