SCOPE:

CAD Designer with a high level of experience in AUTOCAD 2D/3D in the construction industry. Applicant must be able to understand, interpret, and create CAD designs for residential, commercial, and industrial fabrication assemblies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Utilize education and training in the manufacturing processes to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and accelerate project delivery. Provide technical drawings and details for material processing, welding, fabrication, and assembly with respect to layout and quality control. Create CAD CAM programs for Rotary CNC Plasma machine.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Implement and support lean manufacturing systems and work closely with team members toward ongoing labor & material productivity, quality, and design cost improvements.

· Generate project estimates from provided bidding documents.

· Establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with all team members.

EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

· 5 to 10 years documented design experience required.

· Must have PC skills and knowledge; CAD/CAM and/or Mastercam experience preferred, Solid Modeling a plus.

· Experience in metal fabrication, welding processes, machining, and / or assembly a plus.

· Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills required.

· Ability to thrive in a fast paced, results-oriented, continuous improvement environment, required.

· Strong written and oral communication skills.

WORK SCHEDULE

· Monday through Friday 7am – 3:30pm.

· Employment requires the candidate to be onsite during these working hours.

· Benefits package provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
