Old Point National Bank is searching for a Loan Documentation Specialist in Hampton, VA.

Requirements:

• At least 2 or more years of loan documentation experience.
• Experience with loan core systems.

Essential Functions:

• Performs quality reviews of loan documentation to reduce risk of loss and ensure policy and procedures are followed.
• Compares all loan documents and approval documents to the Bank’s Core, to ensure accuracy.
• Review assigned reports daily.
• Prepare monthly reports on all work performed.
• Completes activities required to create and maintain customer credit files.
• Indexes scanned business and personal financial information to our document imaging software received from the bank's customers.
• Completes functions required to verify, document and maintain proper collateral on bank loans; generates exceptions and citing’s to document deficiencies; takes appropriate corrective action.
• Responds to and resolves internal and external customer inquiries and requests.
• May lead activities of documentation unit, assigning, prioritizing and monitoring work.
• Cross trains to assist supervisor and serves as back up to other department staff.
• Performs all work in compliance with applicable regulations/policies and procedures.
