Old Republic Risk Management (ORRM) is currently seeking a Workflow Coordinator to join its Compliance Processing Team at its company headquarters in Brookfield, WI. ORRM provides primary casualty insurance products to corporate and group insureds with complex risks. In general, the Workflow Coordinator performs daily maintenance of department databases, reporting, and audit processing to assist in controlling the workflow in the Statistical Department.

Essential duties for this role are as follows:

  • Input daily premium transactions received from multiple sources into the appropriate Access database in a time sensitive manner to ensure daily production flow. Calculate and assign audit endorsements. Log and assign cancellations received throughout the day to the Compliance Processors.
  • Monitor email notifications from the Audit department on a daily basis. Determine the correct account assignments; then import all required documents into document imaging software. Calculate the correct final audited premium and update the information into the appropriate Access database.
  • Identify and retrieve regulatory notices and criticisms from several different bureau websites and emails. Assign these critical transactions, import all supporting documentation, and update the Access database.
  • Submit daily premium postings for issues, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, subsequent claim activity and new claim listings. Analyze prior posting reports to ensure workflow and quality control procedures are met.
  • Prepare and update various unit statistical (insurance data) reports. Prepare and distribute New Claims and Exception/Unmatched Reports. Run quality control reports.
  • Perform and document data integrity verification checks as part of internal Sarbanes-Oxley Act controls.
  • Evaluate existing processes and provide suggestions for improvement. Implement and document approved procedural changes.

This position requires a High School diploma, or equivalent, and a minimum of one year of experience analyzing large amounts of data, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This position involves working with large amounts of alphanumeric data which individuals must be able to effectively identify and interpret.

Working as a Workflow Coordinator requires one to work independently and effectively within a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products, Excel and Word in particular, is necessary. Other skills necessary include excellent oral and written communication skills, excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills to be able to easily transition between multiple computer systems, accurate proofreading skills, the ability to maintain accurate records, the ability to exercise discretion with confidential information, strong attention to detail, and the ability to use a variety of office equipment.
