What are the responsibilities and job description for the Escrow Processor position at Old Republic Title?
Job Description:
SUMMARY:
Handle process of preparing documents necessary for closing. Coordinates with Lenders, buyer, sellers and real estate agents to obtain all the info closer will need.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assists closers in the South County location processing the files from Order entry, until ready to close.
- Answering phones, typing deeds, obtaining payoffs, utilities, tax info and scheduling closing times.
- Ability to work from 8:30am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
- Must be personable, positive and a profession representative of the Company. Be able to work in a busy office and multitask when needed.
- Regular consistent attendance is required
Physical/Mental Demands:
- The ability to work with confidential information.
- The ability to perform under pressure and be flexible with disruptions throughout the workday.
- Repetitive and continual keyboard activity and interaction with display monitors is required.
- Overnight business travel by air and/or automobile, may be required.
Sedentary work: The majority of activity in this position involves sedentary work including sitting, standing, walking and the occasional need to lift or move objects.
