We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join us, an eager-to-learn, thorough and academically-inclined, compassionate provider who can flourish in our busy but fun urgent care. (S)He should have strong clinical and interpersonal skills as well as a passion to work in a patient-centered, family-oriented clinic with a friendly and close-knit work environment.
In collaboration with our husband-and-wife physicians, the NP will engage in independent decision-making about the health care needs of our patients.
Duties: Assess patients, order and interpret diagnostic tests, make diagnoses and initiate complete treatment plans. The NP may also perform minor surgical procedures within their scope and realm of the collaboration agreement with a physician.
Previous ER, ICU or urgent care experience required.
Training and support will be provided until comfort level is achieved.
Hours are flexible, electronic medical records (Athenahealth) used. paid time off and matching 401k plan available for full-timers. Both part-time and full-time position offered.
