The Parent Advocate will be responsible for providing guidance and support to families or caregivers in a variety of environments. The Parent Advocate will work independently in the family's home and a variety of community and/or treatment settings, and serve as a liaison for parent involvement and co-facilitate parent support group.
We are seeking a candidate with a high school diploma or equivalent. Qualified candidates must currently be or have been the parent or primary caregiver (not foster parent) who has/had 24/7 legal responsibility of a child/youth who received services from the Department of Mental Health, Department of Child and Family Services, Probation Department, or Regional Center.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
