Maintenance Supervisor

As a Maintenance Supervisor for Olive West (a J. Fisher Company), you would perform all technical and mechanical work to ensure the physical aspects of the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the property meet the Company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality. We are looking for someone to oversee Apt. Complex under construction & lease up. Duties would include punch list inspections on units, work order repairs, painting, track appliance warranties, move-out turns, pool and spa maintenance, office repairs and managing vendors. Must be okay with sharing on-call duties.

Qualifications:
Employees must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and
maintenance of hand tools, power tools, user-moved aids, mechanical
equipment and measuring devices.
Demonstrated ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define
and correct problems.
Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication skills
in order to effectively interact with residents, clients, team members,
and other business contacts, respond courteously to questions and
requests, and stay calm when addressing and resolving customer
problems.
Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to
represent company management in a support capacity, act as first
point of contact for internal team members and external visitors to the
Company, and answer questions related to department operating
policies.

Additional Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years experience in a full-time maintenance role
High School Diploma, GED or related experience and/or training
HVAC and CPO certifications preferred
Multifamily community experience preferred
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to multitask with numerous properties and service needs
Exceptional safety skills
