The Front-End Supervisor drives superior customer service and oversees the team of cashiers and sales associates who execute all front-end procedures and operate the cash registers. This role is the store expert in all cash handling, bank deposits, POS processes, online orders, and front-end appearance standards, including training all store associates in cashiering and balancing cash drawers. The Front-End Supervisor role models the gold-standard of customer service, as this is key to achieving store goals in customer loyalty and the Ace rewards program.

  • Proactively assists customers throughout the store with personal, customized service to provide a WOW experience.
  • Communicates with the Store Manager on front end associate performance and updates on their development.
  • Assists with inventory control of store merchandise through proper operational procedures on the front-end & throughout the store.
  • Supervises the maintenance and cleanliness of front-end areas and works with the entire store team to ensure all policies, safety, and sanitation procedures are upheld.
  • Handles any customer issues, requests, or complaints, along with overseeing the returns or exchanges of merchandise according to store policies and customer satisfaction objectives.
  • Monitors and maintains the stocking of front-end products, merchandise, and promotional items to gain sales growth in those categories.
  • Collaborates with the entire store team to rally toward completion of work goals and participates in store meetings.
  • Assists other Department specialists with any work efforts required to meet the daily, weekly, or period tasks.
  • Oversees the fulfillment of online orders and execution of the process for customer pickup, associate retrieval, and finalization of such orders.
  • Trains designated staff on the front-end processes including cashiering, add-on selling, rewards sign-ups, cleaning, and customer service standards.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
  • 2-3 years of cashier and/or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
  • Bilingual preferred, primarily Spanish and/or Polish.
