Job DescriptionJoin the Water Resources Team at Olsson in the pivotal role of a Senior Engineer. We are in pursuit of a candidate exuding comprehensive expertise in Hydraulic Modeling, a passion for leadership, and a strong inclination for contributing to the team's overall technical proficiency. Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead Hydraulic Modeling and Engineering Projects: Serve as the lead engineer on intricate projects, ensuring high-level technical engineering modeling, design, and execution.
- Mentor and Guide: Elevate the team's technical capacity through insightful mentoring and training on technical design, ensuring growth and development for all members.
- Supervise and Direct: Oversee professionals and technical staff in aligning the design approach with project requirements, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
- Promote Efficiency and Quality: Champion efficiencies in delivering superior work while rigorously maintaining quality control and adequate plan checks.
- Leads efforts, in conjunction with team leader, to secure client work by focusing on exceptional client service.
We have one current opening and will consider candidates interested in being located out of our Denver, CO, Loveland, CO or Colorado Springs, CO office locations.

- Strong communication skills.

- A minimum of eight years in the consulting industry, and experience leading technical or project teams.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Must be a registered professional engineer.
- Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling expertise, both 1D and 2D.
- Demonstrated ability in exceeding client expectations with exceptional project management, staffing, and client service orientation.
- Ability to attract, develop, and retain a talented staff committed to delivering results.

Typical range for this position is $106,000 to $145,000 and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.
