Directing and managing information systems, policies, programs and schedules for business/financial processing, computer services, network communications, telephony, and management information services to accomplish corporate goals and objectives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Management of ERP software package including custom programming, maintenance, support, and upgrades to ensure organizational goals are met.
  • Supports users in the selection, purchase, implementation, usage, and maintenance of hardware and software.
  • Directs information and data integrity.
  • Evaluates technology and recommend enhancements.
  • Ensures security of information systems, communication, and equipment.
  • Performs maintenance and upgrades on all workstations, servers, and software.
  • Works with third-party IT Services provider to manage backup, storage, and retrieval functions as well as firewalls.
  • Develops, maintains, and tests disaster recovery plans.
  • Recommends, develops, plans, and purchases hardware and software.
  • Supports communications, LAN, WAN, and all users.
  • Supports video conferencing, telephony, imaging, hardware, and application software.
  • Liaison with IT Services providers and other technology vendors.
  • Performs backup as needed for various functions.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experienced ERP System administrator/programmer.  Specific experience with M1 (ECI Software) or similar (Epicor, JobBoss, Made2Manage, Vista (Vantage version)).  Knowledge and experience with Visual Basic, SQL Server, & Crystal Reports.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft products in a networked environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance department efficiency and service excellence.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills including ability to listen attentively and to communicate information clearly and effectively.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills; ability to interact positively with teammates at various levels across the company and customers.
