Vision Therapy Coordinator
The Vision Therapy Coordinator is responsible for a multitude of things that assist patient flow, patient satisfaction, efficiency of the vision therapy department as a whole, and the therapist. This position plays an integral part in how a patient’s experience of OVC and their therapy is perceived.
Job Duties:
The following responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Greeting patients with a smile and welcoming them to the clinic.
- Routing all charts for next day/week
- Ensuring all patient information is up to date
- Answering incoming phone calls with a professional and friendly tone.
- Schedule all appointment, keep schedule Full schedule
- Direct Communication with Therapist regarding patient’s needs
- Checking voice mail and returning calls, when you arrive/leave clinic.
- Verify insurances benefits for patients who are scheduled, weekly and monthly
- Keeping inventory of all Vision therapy tools, supplies and handouts, order monthly.
- Creating invoice, collecting payment for services rendered in regards to sessions.
- Schedule follow ups with Doctor when necessary
- Explaining and teach basic Therapy techniques
General Job Duties and Competencies:
- Consistent and reliable attendance to meet the business and patient needs of Olympia Vision Clinic.
- Reliability and flexibility in working hours to meet the operational needs of Olympia Vision Clinic.
- Compliance with all of Olympia Vision Clinic’s policies and procedures in regards to HIPAA.
- Maintaining positive, productive working relationships with all co-workers and management.
- The ability to multi-task without becoming overwhelmed.

- Good problem solving and organizational skills.
- The ability to properly prioritize tasks on a daily basis.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All employees are vaccinated, wear masks and use gloves when needed. All patients wear masks in the clinic. Disinfectant wipes are used through the day.
