Position Summary:
The Ticketing Systems Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the Ticketing Systems Senior Manager in the coordination of events relating to Ticket Omaha for the Holland Performing arts Center and the Orpheum Theater. This individual will focus on events presented by Omaha Performing Arts and be responsible for all aspects of patron service including communicating to Patron Service Representatives to attain event ticketing goals.
This position provides high quality service in a professional, timely manner while selling and reconciling ticket sales. Performance reflects O-pa’s Core Values of Team, Inclusion, Trust, and Integrity.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
Ticketing Services:
Uses Tessitura ticketing software in facility setup, scaling, ticket pricing, promotions, sales and marketing reports.
Verifies accuracy of all ticketing event setups.
Continually learns current and/or new systems, policies and procedures and stays abreast of program developments.
Assists the Box Office Manager Steelhouse in the setup of events on Ticketmaster platforms
Professionally represents O-pa in working with constituent groups who use Ticket Omaha box office services.
Patron Services:
Balances daily ticket sales in collaboration with Patron Services team.
Upholds ticketing policies and procedures including, but not limited to; ticket sales, refunds, exchanges, lost-stolen tickets and Internet ticketing.
Processes patron transactions including, but not limited to; low level gift processing, address updates and entering new patron records into the system.
Professionally represents O-pa when solving patron service issues and/or complaints.
Event Leader:
Supervises Patron Services Representatives with specified ticketing events.
Produces event/performance related reports requiring balancing before closing of Ticket Omaha box office.
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
Three (3) years prior customer service experience
Two (2) or more years’ experience in a ticketing services or systems environment preferred
One (1) year previous supervisory experience preferred
Ability to efficiently and accurately handle cash transactions and reconciliation.
Proven ability to work effectively with multiple constituents and others in the organization.
Proven ability to work well with others in a team-based environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and PowerPoint).
Professional demeanor with strong organizational and customer service skills.
Requires evening and weekend availability.
Minimum Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervises Patron Services Representatives at specified ticketing events.
Physical Demands:
No physical exertion required.
Required to sit for long periods of time.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Equipment/Machinery Used:
General office equipment (computer, telephone, fax, copier and printer).
