Position Details:
We are hiring for two distinct Line Producer roles, each focusing on a specific area of production:
- Commercial: This role will focus on managing commercial campaigns and branded content projects
- Unscripted: This role will emphasize unscripted content, digital media projects, and events
- Budget Management & Bidding: Lead internal budget management, including bidding and active production management. This involves soliciting and evaluating vendor bids, negotiating contracts, managing onboarding, handling time and costs for freelance hires, and ensuring cost-effective solutions throughout all project phases
- Production Scheduling & Planning: Develop and implement detailed production schedules, keeping the team on track through all planning stages
- Communication & Coordination: Communicate production needs, budget, and schedule to key members of the production team through various milestones. Act as a key point of contact both internally and externally, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations throughout the production process
- Assignment Management and Project Staffing: Assign workloads to heads of departments to facilitate work needed with freelancers and in-house staff based on project needs and individual skill sets. Find and onboard external expertise for budgeting or field-specific needs as required for each project. Build and maintain a diverse pool of freelance talent and vendors, fostering strong relationships and ensuring availability for future projects
- On-Set Operations: Direct daily on-set operations, ensuring all aspects of production are executed efficiently and according to plan
- Cost Reporting & Documentation: Manage day-to-day cost reporting on assigned projects through to wrap. Oversee internal folder systems and produce detailed wrap book reports
- Risk Management & Compliance: Identify and mitigate risks associated with production projects throughout all phases of execution. Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and regulatory requirements. Secure necessary locations, permits, and licenses, addressing all legal and logistical aspects
- Production Planning Review: Review and advise on production plans to ensure feasibility and alignment with company, union, and legal standards
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Line Producer in Physical Production
- Deep experience with commercial format, union rules, and on-site project management
- Proven track record of successfully leading production teams and managing complex projects
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Agency, client, or buyer experience is helpful but not required
- Proficiency in production management software and tools
