Executive Director, Data Science - (job location is New York, NY; employer is OMD USA LLC) - Lead a staff in developing and delivering data-driven solutions across the analytical spectrum (descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive). Provide subject matter expertise on all things data and analytics to internal as well as external stakeholders by developing compelling actionable insights through quantitative analysis, innovative thinking and data storytelling. Lead a staff in developing marketing strategies for both existing customers and prospective clients. Partner with Planning teams to support end-to-end audience strategy by onboarding the data sources, leveraging advanced Machine Learning techniques to build, scale and deploy audiences across various platforms/publishers. Partner with the Activation team to design and setup A/B tests using best in class DOE practices and optimize campaign performance by running descriptive and diagnostic analyses in clean rooms and other analytics platforms. Design and present decks that communicate data (campaign performance, test results and ad-hoc analyses) as a compelling narrative. Design tech infrastructure and data pipelines (ETL, data automation, data querying). Partner with client and media partner data science teams to develop new methodologies and utilities. Coach and manage the career progression of other Data Science team members. Requirements: Master’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a closely related field, plus two years of experience in the position offered or as a Director or Associate Director with a media agency. All required experience must have included using campaign analysis, optimization, customer segmentation, and predictive modeling techniques to solve business problems; implementing scalable analytical workflows across distributed computing architectures; using SQL, R, and Python to conduct data analysis; and implementing Machine Learning techniques for segmentation, predictive modeling, association rules, state transitions, and descriptive and predictive marketing applications.
