ASBESTOS FIELD PROJECT MONITORS/AIR SAMPLING TECHNICIANS
Our firm Omega Environmental Services with main office in S. Hackensack, NJ, and a satellite office in NYC has continued to expand and evolve as an essential environmental health and safety business during COVID-19. We currently have open asbestos and other field positions for qualified individuals with good communication skills and reliability. We are interested in both candidates with asbestos industry experience/certification(s), as well as entry-level individuals looking to make a career change and/or jumpstart a new career pathway in environmental health and safety.

[Asbestos Project Monitor/AST job details]

Company Description
About us

Omega Environmental Services, Inc. was founded in 1989 when the key personnel of a “Fortune-500′′ company’s environmental engineering division founded their own company. The culture of the new organization is based on providing superior customer service, rapid response, and “turn-key” environmental health & safety services. Our company policy is to earn our client’s trust and respect by providing exceptional client service and consistently high-quality work.

This policy has enabled Omega to work with “Fortune-500′′ companies, health care institutions, and insurance companies on their environmental health & safety projects. In addition to asbestos and lead programs, Omega specializes in OSHA compliance programs, health and safety programs, indoor air quality assessments, and Phase I and II environmental site assessments. We have also been leaders in the industry in microbial consulting, remediation design & oversight. Working with healthcare institutions and hospitals, infection control departments often call us to perform outside quality control or assist in preparation for Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JC) inspections.

At Omega, we are sensitive that our client’s financial resources available to address environmental and health, and safety issues may be limited. Yet the reduction of environmental liability is also critical. At Omega, both cost minimization and limiting environmental exposure are incorporated into our project design criteria.

Since opening, Omega has experienced a health & controlled growth rate of nearly 20% per year, and our professional staff members have diverse backgrounds covering the following disciplines: Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Ventilation, Toxicology, Risk Assessment, Air Pollution, Safety, and Environmental Law. Our field staff consists of professionals with undergraduate and advanced degrees and years of experience working with the public and private sectors on environmental projects. Over 80% of our work comes from referrals and repeat business. We have found success by focusing on the needs of our customers without compromising quality or liability-related issues.
