What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Omega Technologies?
The Administrative Assistant will provide support to the organizations Sales Team. The ideal candidate will be a reliable and highly motivated individual with exceptional communication and organizational skills. The Candidate must be capable of handling multiple assignments and setting priorities.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Receptionist - Distributing inbound phone calls
· Data Entry – Assist the Sales Team with input of Vendor & Customer Quotes
· Sales Orders – Enter & Confirm receipt with estimated ship dates
· Expediter – Provide estimated ship dates to customers on inbound status requests
· Purchasing – Matching Purchase Orders & Confirmations
· Status: Maintain overdue purchased items & update delivery dates in the ERP system
Additional Qualifications:
- Basic working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and to meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Capable of managing a high volume of data entry
- Proficiency in Spanish is given additional consideration but not required

Abilities and Characteristics:
This complex role requires excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively. The position requires someone who is energetic, engaging and highly focused. One that can express reliability when corresponding with Customers and Suppliers. The qualified Team member must be computer proficient, possess the willingness to learn and project self-confidence.
Experience:
A Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Customer Care and/or Sales Administrative position is desired. Some College Courses a plus but not a requirement for a well-qualified Candidate.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
