The primary focus of the commercial sales representative is to develop new sales opportunities and generate profitable revenue growth. The ideal commercial sales representative will have a proven track record of hunting for, quoting, and closing commercial accounts. This individual must demonstrate a thorough understanding of the sales cycle processes as our integrated security solutions will be presented to business owners, executives, directors, and facility managers within the commercial space. If chosen for this role you will be responsible for

• Self-generate leads and maximize company provided leads. Close outright equipment/installation sales and generate recurring monthly revenue.
• Hunt for new leads through: leads group participation, canvassing, social media, centers of influence, existing relationships, referrals
• Maintain an accurate CRM and pipeline while developing and maintaining an active proposal funnel that will support the sales plan
• Conduct building surveys to support the development of estimates
• Build and maintain consultative relationships while understanding the client’s risk profile and budget
• Demonstrate the value of solutions you presented to best satisfy customer needs
• Work effectively with internal clients to provide attractive quotes to customers and project manage the accounts that he/she sells
• Work in a fast-paced environment with many moving parts
• Drive to customer locations as necessary

Key workflows and requirements include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field with at least 3 years of experience of selling electronic security to commercial clients 
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent communication, customer service, and computer skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel, and Word)
• Experience in intrusion alarm, IP cameras, and access control is a requirement
• Ability to read wiring diagrams/schematics
• Must have a valid drivers license
