Personal Injury Case Manager

Summary/Objective:

Omni Healthcare, a pioneer in our niche medical funding industry is seeking an energetic Case Manager to join our growing team. As a Case Manager you will be responsible for for completing intakes with prospective clients needing medical treatment resulting from a personal injury claim, underwriting through analysis of case details provided by their legal representation, coordinating and funding medical care with healthcare providers, and providing ongoing support to the client and their law firm personnel.

Essential Functions:

• Comfortable managing active caseload of 80-120 cases
• Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and medical providers to ensure best care and best service possible
• Effectively manage medical treatment for accident victims, including but not limited to scheduling and coordinating appointments, analyze medical records, and arrange transportation
• Some medical terminology foundation and understanding of procedures
• Ability to make funding decisions to $10K
• Maintain workflow through prioritization of daily and weekly tasks
• Occasionally assist with training new team members

• Excellent customer service and customer relations skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Articulate, critical thinker, multi-tasker and ability to prioritize tasks daily and weekly
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Ability to assess overall case metrics, build/maintain relationships with law firms and make timely decisions independently and with help from supervisors
• Prior work history within personal injury, paralegal work, healthcare, auto insurance adjuster and/or medical lien funding is desired but not required
• Candidates fluent in Spanish are preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
