Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Catering & Conference Services Manager for the beautiful new Barton Creek Resort & Spa!

The Catering & Conference Services Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of catering and conference services for Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa. This role encompasses servicing both corporate catering and small conference services groups. It requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a dedication to providing exceptional service to clients and guests.

Responsibilities

Event Planning and Coordination:

 

  • Work closely with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences.
  • Create and manage detailed event plans, including banquet and catering menus, room setups, audiovisual equipment, timelines, and estimates.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the event once the contract has been signed for both corporate catering and small conference groups.
  • Be onsite point of contact when group arrives or when event takes place to ensure event kicks off successfully.
  • Collaborate with all hotel departments including but not limited to culinary, banquets, rooms, and engineering to aid in the proper execution of the detailed event plans.
  • Review final billing to ensure accuracy.

Client Relations:

  • Represent our luxury brand by ensuring customer and overall event satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and small conference groups, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Provide prompt and professional responses to inquiries, concerns, and feedback.

Qualifications

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (preferred but not required)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
