Job Description:
Supervise the day to day operation of the guest service department. Ensure our Arrival/Departure process is executed to the highest standards to ensure guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
  • Daily completion of Supervisor's checklist as determined by management.
  • Daily review of memo book and e-mails.
  • Knowledgeable about all Guest Services standard operating procedures.
  • Recruit, train and develop Bell-Valet staff.
  • Controls guest flow in and out of the hotel. Responsible for proper check in/out of guests and guest deliveries.
  • Maintain continuous contact with hotel guests to ensure that any problems or complaints are handled quickly, efficiently and courteously.
  • Uphold the hotel's commitment to Five Star service standards and follow through on staff training programs.
  • Ensure that all VIP's and repeat guest programs are adhered to.
  • Check off work and make sure all employees balance at the end of their shift.
  • Develop a good working knowledge of every Guest Services position.
  • Supervise and ensure proper communications and planning within areas of responsibility and other departments in the hotel.
  • Ensure budget and forecast are in line with occupancy. Monitor and critique payroll and other expenses in all areas of responsibility.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for all Bell-Valet staff and controls all activity within the department.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to carry out each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Resort experience with an emphasis on Front Office and Guest Services.
  • Must have previous supervisory experience and excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

REQUIRED LICENSES/ CERTIFICATIONS
  • Must have a valid state issued driver’s license and be able to provide a clean DMV printout.
  • TIPS Alcohol Certification is required upon hire.
