Job Description

The Makeup Artist will provide impeccable makeup application with professionalism, personalized service and hospitality to guests of Mokara Spa.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation and application services in the art of makeup application.
• All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies and procedures.
• Create an image for the guest's needs and social event using different makeup colors, textures and application techniques.
• Be on time for your shift, prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.
• Provide consistent professional consultations and applications in accordance with spa/salon protocols.
• Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the spa.
• Properly care for equipment and tools and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of makeup products, techniques, and technologies
• 2 years of experience in the makeup industry
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of principles and processes for meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Superior attention to detail
• Creative mindset and artistic personality
• Customer oriented with a proactive and positive attitude
• Technical understanding of lighting, photography, styles, and dramatization
• Deep understanding of health and safety rules
• Great understanding of makeup techniques
