Network Technician
Job Posting for Network Technician at Omni Tax Help
On site IT and Network Specialist needed.
This role will provide full IT support to our firm. Primary responsibility is to problem solve and find solutions for incoming tickets from our employees. You will troubleshoot and install well-functioning computer networks, connectors, and cabling and supplying network support to users.
Being reliable is a must, ideal individual must be well-driven. Willing to grow skill sets and work in a team-oriented environment with our Tech department. Able to understand the request's context and find the problem resolution quickly and efficiently. Knowing how to prioritize your time effectively and being able to handle organizational requests professionally.
Key responsibilities include:
· Troubleshoot and resolve IT request from the entire firm.
· Installing and configuring network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues.
· Monitoring Computer systems to improve network performance.
· Work directly with Tech to improve network when needed.
· Supply network support to users.
Qualifications/skills:
- Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts
- Experience with server virtualization
- Hands on technical troubleshooting capabilities
- preferably 2-year experience with software and networking
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- optional associate or bachelor's degree in computer science
- Proven experience in network technician role
- Experience with firewalls, internet VPN's, troubleshooting
- Ability to set up and configure server hardware
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $47,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Computer networking: 1 year (Preferred)
- LAN: 1 year (Preferred)

- Confidential (Preferred)
