Job Title: System Integrator, II
Primary Location: USA – Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD

Schedule: Full-time
Travel: No anticipated travel for this position.
Basic Qualifications:
An individual must meet the following criteria to be considered:
- U.S. Citizen
- Pass a background investigation.
- Possess an active Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Five (5) or more years of relevant experience
- Possess a DoD 8570-compliant security certifications to meet IAT/IAM II or III requirements (Security , CISSP, CCNA, etc.)
Job Highlights:
Join OMNI Technologies' Engineering team as a Systems Integrator to architect and engineer systems, applications, and subsystems using existing and emerging technologies. In this role, you will perform engineering for single-node, enterprise-level, and cloud-computing information systems, supporting the development of system designs that meet functional requirements, security policies, and assurance requirements.
Required Skills:
- Experience in system engineering, integration, and IT support
- Extensive experience in planning, executing, and troubleshooting the integration of various COTS, GOTS, and Open-Source products
- In-depth knowledge of data processing, big-data technologies, and campus-wide information systems
- Technical expertise in multiple areas including networking, virtualization (ESX and/or KVM), Linux (Red Hat, CentOS), Apache Zookeeper, Apache Hadoop, Apache Accumulo, Apache Storm, Apache Kafka, Apache NiFi, Web Services (HTTPD, JBoss, Tomcat), Kubernetes, and automation platforms (Puppet, Ansible, Helm, Terraform)
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing standards, procedures, and guidelines to support operational processes
- Compliance with DOD 8570 IAT II requirements
Key Job Functions:
- Evaluate and recommend integration solutions based on customer preferences
- Test and authenticate software for suitability and security before integration
- Draft technical instructions, engineering plans, and technical designs
- Develop work plans for team members
- Provide post-installation and integration support to customers
- Troubleshoot, update and maintain systems
- Document system problems and resolutions
