Sr. Program Manager (Tech)
Program Manager will be responsible for execution of IT Infrastructure initiatives. Project Manager will collaborate with stakeholders in Business functions and IT teams to implement approved projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage infrastructure project portfolio through the various stages of intake, discovery, execution, and maintenance
- Drive assigned projects end to end and take ownership of their success in terms of project delivery and business outcomes
- Formulate and define project scope and objectives
- Develop project plans and associated communication documents
- Define project deliverables and related schedules
- Document project risks and develop risk mitigation plans
- Organize and lead project status and working meetings, prepare and distribute progress reports to business and executive stakeholders, manage risks and issues, and adapt to situations as they arise
- Manage and delegate a global team, which includes on-site, remote, and offshore
- Communication with Key stakeholders about the project milestones, progress and managing risks
- Experience in managing data center migrations
- Experience in managing infrastructure initiatives including cloud, server, Storage, Security, backup, and networks
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cross functional teams to work effectively with technical and non-technical business partners
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of infrastructure practices, technologies, and methods
- Ability to translate and communicate technical concepts to both technical personnel and non-IT business users.
- Knowledge of project and program management methodologies, associated processes and tools, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Excellent written and oral communication as well as project management skills.
- Strong leadership skills: Resilience, sense of urgency, calm under pressure, persistence, influencing skills, interpersonal skills, ownership/accountability
- Strong analytics capabilities (advanced excel, intermediate Tableau, etc.)
- Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as strong presentation & influencing skills
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in, Business Administration or other related fields
- 5 years of responsible experience in project management and implementation of technology, preferably in IT Infrastructure and Information Security Field (Infrastructure, Cloud Setup, Networking, It Strategy and Service Management)
- Must be a current Omnicell temporary employee
