The corporate office in New York has an immediate opportunity for a Insurance Risk Analyst. This position is full time and currently hybrid, 3 days p / week in the New York offic e.
The Insurance Risk Analyst will be responsible for assisting the Vice President, Risk Management and Assistant Director of Risk Management with risk management and insurance issues affecting the Company.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter and takes initiative in the responsibilities described below.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Supports and in some cases responsible to secure the property and casualty insurance underwriting data in an effective manner globally working with internal corporate departments, Omnicom entities and all insurance broke
- Supports with planning and directing business analysis and risk modeling
- Responsible for the accounting of the insurance programs & budgets as well as premium allocations & invoicing insurance prepaid accounts globally (in conjunction with accounting / treasury / broker(s)
- Responsible for working with internal department on allocations for U.S. captive invoicing
- Supports and provides guidance to global operations on insurance forms and their daily questions and needs
- Supports updating content on insurance portal of internal website
- Assist with due diligence for new acquisitions and divestitures, as appropriate
- Maintains and updates insurance broker and carriers P&L's
- Prepare all decks for any presentations for team
- Support ad hoc projects at the direction of the team’s leadership. Support project management, meeting coordination, and other strategic initiative
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, accounting, commerce, or business administration.
- 1 years’ experience; roles in property, casualty, and financial lines insurance and / or risk management a plus
- International experience a plus
- Excellent analytical skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel
