The Role The PMO Manager will lead a team of Project Managers and Implementation Consultants that will be working on Professional Services projects at Omnitracs. They will be responsible for making sure the team is fully trained and prepared to effectively rollout the suite of Omnitracs products. They will also manage the utilization of the team members and make sure time is properly accounted for then report that utilization to upper management. What You’ll Do Responsible for keeping the team up to date on Omnitracs Products and services Track and account for the team’s utilization on a weekly basis Prepare reports on the status of projects on a weekly basis Hire new Project Managers and Implementation Consultants when needed Develop and rollout new project plans that consider strategic goals, priorities, milestones, time estimates, task sequencing and critical paths while at the same time determining what tasks can be performed concurrently. Create a consistent methodology to track and maintain future enhancements as additional requirements are added unexpectedly to a project. Measure project performance, risk , issues and Dependencies using appropriate tools and techniques and is able to report and escalate to management as needed.
