BASIC FUNCTION:

Customer focused position with advanced sales knowledge and skills to sell the full product portfolio to the assigned accounts within the country to achieve or exceed given sales targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Multinational customer focused position with advanced sales knowledge and skills to sell the full product portfolio to the assigned key accounts within the country to achieve or exceed given sales targets.
  • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.

  • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
  • Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services.
  • Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up.
  • Identify and resolve client concerns and complaints.
  • Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, and follow-up.
  • Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.
  • Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock.
  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, etc.
  • Assist in follow-up for collection of payment.
  • Assist in coordinating shipping of merchandise and scheduling of services.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related technical field and at least 5 years of personal care ingredient sales experience, preferably in a distribution arrangement.

Existing customer relationships with key accounts in region is highly preferred. Ideal candidates must have the abilitie to persuade and influence others, develop and deliver presentations, as well as compose and edit written materials.

This role will have national responsibility with a focus on the east coast.

Must be willing and able to regularly travel regionally up to 30-40% to include overnight travel.
