BASIC FUNCTION:
Responsible for the collection, analysis and reporting of sales related data, tracking key performance indicators, performance evaluation, providing financial analysis of critical business initiatives to drive optimal decisions and performing special projects as needed.
Develop standardized tools, methodologies and business processes aimed at improving process efficiencies and ensuring data integrity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting & Analysis, Performance Management
- Timely review sales including margins
- Ensure reports are complete, accurate and meet expectations of users
- Prepare presentations for performance management, track and ensure ownership of action items including follow ups as necessary
- Thoroughly review, understand and explain/document sales variances to both plan and prior year in accordance with established thresholds
- Analyze performance, identify opportunities to reduce cost and/or increase revenue
- Ensure that all Sales and MDI enquiries are addressed timely
- Meet reporting deadlines
- Prepare ad-hoc analysis as needed
- Assist in developing and reviewing sales budgets and rolling forecasts including variance analysis
- Assist in the annual target setting process
- Perform complex analysis and modeling to aid decision making
Business Processes
- Analyze and evaluate components of Sales processes and recommend improvements
- Monitor finished goods inventory and recommend improvement ideas to reduce cost, improve working capital, reduce obsolescence, waste etc.
- Support price increases
- Support Omya transfer pricing process
- Perform sales incentive calculations
- Support warehouse inventory review and reconciliation
- Analyze and support requests for proposals
- Monitor and enforce adherence to company policies
- Develop and recommend internal control improvements
- Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit
- Comply with all local rules and regulations
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and a m inimum of 3-5 years of relevant, progressive experience in multi-national manufacturing environment.
Proven problem solving, analytical, decision‐making and teamwork skills. Proficient knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting.
Strong verbal, written and presentation skills as well as interpersonal and communication skills. Ideal candidate must have the ability to build and sustain relationships.
SAP experience highly desired. Bi-lingual English and Spanish preferred
