Job description
We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to oversee a multitude of investment companies ranging from property management, construction, equipment rental, fuel and lube, facility services, etc. The CFO must be well-versed in all aspects of financial management ranging from simple accounting to broad investment and banking operations. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader since all relative departments of the organization will be under their command.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive the company’s financial planning
- Manage and send reports on a monthly and quarterly basis to owners, investors, and lenders
- Prepare cash flow projections and forecasts
- Prepare financial analysis of revenue and profits projections to actuals and budgeted expenses to actuals and provide recommendations to improve results
- Oversee treasury management
- Participating in meetings and be comfortable with reporting numbers
- Ensure the selection, development, motivation, and retention of well-qualified team members on staff.
Requirements and Qualifications
- 5 years of CFO experience is highly preferred
- Bachelors of Science in Accounting or Finance required
- Certified Public Accountant designation preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of month end closings
- Good understanding of GAAP
- Proficient in QuickBooks
- Self-starter who is flexible, highly adaptable and able to work at a fast pace
- Excellent communications skills: presentation, interpersonal, verbal and written
