Accounts Receivable Collector

On Target Executive Search is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Collector to join one of our client's accounting departments. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to resolve billing issues and discrepancies in a timely manner. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring assigned accounts and addressing any outstanding payments, all while providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities:

• Contact customers to ensure prompt payment of invoices.
• Provide necessary paperwork and documentation to facilitate invoice clearance.
• Resolve billing issues and discrepancies, ensuring timely payment collection.
• Navigate through large customers' websites to obtain payment information and anticipate potential payment issues.
• Regularly review and monitor assigned accounts, addressing any outstanding payments over 30 days past due.
• Provide exceptional customer service, particularly with customers holding large balances.
• Collaborate with the team on special projects as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5 years of experience in accounts receivable management.
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and follow-up skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and other relevant software.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of data.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year.
• Benefits: Discussed during interview

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: Depends on our clients, the salary range and benefit vary for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island or Washington residents is $50,000-$55,000 per year depends on the level of experience.
