Position Description

This position is responsible for warehouse support for construction operations. 

Essential Functions

• Ability to operate the following equipment safely and effectively:
  • Forklift
  • Pallet Jack
  • Hand Tools and small Power Tools
• Performs work safely and in accordance with the company’s safety rules and instructions.
• Receive shipments from local carriers as well as unload large/heavy loads off trucks.
• Organize and maintain inventory within warehouse, and outside storage.
• Pull and prepare inventory and “kit” for projects as required.
• Maintain inventory of PPE, including ordering and restocking.
• Manage facilities duties – arrange for outside services when required.
• Prepares records and reports as required.
• May be required to work overtime when assigned.
• Works with the public, customers and fellow employees in a courteous, professional and helpful manner.
• Thoroughly familiar with Company Environmental policy and follow such.

Knowledge/Education/Skills/Experience

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.

• DOT class A license preferred, or willing to obtain within 6 months of employment.

• Forklift experience/training preferred.
• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the construction field.
• Strong interpersonal skills: Client interaction requires professional conduct with focus on the customer
• Strong organizational skills: Attention to detail and accuracy
• Must be deadline driven and possess ability to work as required to meet client's needs
• Clean driving record required.

Leadership/Teamwork

• Ability to operate independently while still supporting “team” environment.

Physical Requirements

• Lifts heavy materials and equipment weighing up to 100 lbs. occasionally and frequently lifts and/or carries objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Works outside in all types of weather conditions.
