About the position:
Currently, they are opening a new location in Manhattan, NY (but hiring in Queens and the Bronx as well) and are looking to hire a Dentist. As their general Dentist, you will diagnose, treat, and advise the patients on various dental issues. You will have a range of experience treating teeth and gum problems, from simple cases like removing plaque to more complex procedures such as dental implants. Your goal is to promote good oral health and help patients apply preventive dental care.
Main Work Responsibilities: Additional day-to-day tasks will be discussed during the second interview with the company’s Hiring Manager.
- Examine patients’ medical records
- Prepare patients for treatment
- Check teeth, gums, and other parts of the mouth, along with x-Rays and tests, to diagnose dental problems
- Clean teeth and remove plaque
- Identify tooth decay and replace cavities with fillings
- Design and fit dental prosthetic devices, such as bridges, crowns and dentures
- Teeth- whitening treatments
- Conduct tooth extractions and root canal procedures
- Perform surgeries on diseased tissues and bones
- Prescribe medication as needed
- Educate patients on proper dental hygiene and oral care, especially brush techniques, flossing, and fluoride use
- Promote good oral health and preventive dental care by scheduling regular check-ups
Requirements
The Background Qualifications You need- Education and/or Experience:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and/or Dental License to practice the dentist profession
- Experience as a Dentist
- In-depth knowledge of dental hygiene
- Experienced using dental equipment and tools
- Experienced conducting surgeries and teeth extractions

- Pleasant, compassionate, and empathetic personality with the ability to make patients feel comfortable
- Ability to remain calm and work well under pressure

- Basis Pay Range: $800 - $3,000 (from the research I did)
- W2 or 1099 contract

- Available in office two times a day per week (hours will increase)
