• Ready the assigned service vehicle each day for the current project by preparing materials, tools, and equipment as directed by supervision
• Apply given instructions for each job and make adjustments as directed by the construction Assistant Superintendent or Foreman
• Maintain a brisk and productive pace of activities to complete all assigned tasks within time constraints
• Leave construction equipment and tools clean, organized, and stored in an orderly fashion after each use
• Dispose of debris according to company protocols
• Provide assistance to other team members on various tasks as directed, or if your duties are completed ahead of schedule
• Wear clean safety equipment, such as ear plugs, dust masks, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, harnesses and lanyards, and boots that are in good repair
• Comply with company directives regarding health and safety when operating equipment or while being in the work area.
• Assisting other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• High School graduate/GED equivalent or other construction work related experience.
• Able to read, write and understand English. Bi-lingual helpful.
• A minimum of three years’ experience is preferred with all phases of construction and repair techniques, preferably in a residential community environment.
• Experienced with all phases of construction and repair techniques
  • Skilled in carpentry, restoration and rehabilitation.
  • Skilled in concrete forming and finishing, stucco application.
  • Skilled in drywall installation and finish, aluminum–steel and hand railing installation and repair.
  • Skilled in all forms of labor that are necessary for the completion of construction projects.
• Must be willing to learn and develop new skills.
• Able to handle laborious and repetitive manual tasks.
• Skilled laborer must have basic knowledge of construction site tools and ability to use them safely.
  • Must be able to work safely with powered construction tools.
  • Experience with all safety practices.
  • Knowledgeable in the proper operation of aerial lifts, ladders, or other heavy equipment utilized in the construction trade.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, shop and work areas
• Ability to adapt to changes in working environment and conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good organizational and good follow up skills.
• Ability to work as a team member.

• A valid Florida Driver's License is required with acceptable driving history
