Estimator (Aerospace)

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) – Everett, a world-class manufacturer of multi-axis milled, turned, and assembled aerospace components, is currently seeking an experienced Planner/Estimator to join our team in Everett, Washington. This is a 1st shift position (Monday through Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm) and reports directly to the Business Development Manager. As a critical member of the CPP-Everett team, you will work closely with other departments and co-workers in the Planning and/or Estimating role.

Major Responsibilities

· Review and evaluate engineering (blueprints, specifications, models, etc.), requests for quote and/or purchase orders to determine customer requirements.

· Solicit vendor pricing for materials, outside processing/manufacturing and standards.

· Generate cost breakdown for labor, materials, standards, and outside processing/manufacturing.

· Maintain data base of all estimate and quote information.

About You

· Machining Background of 5 years minimum with CNC Lathes and Mills is necessary.

· A clear understanding in blueprint reading and ability to analyze digital engineering data.

· Basic computer skills is required and a knowledge Excel spreadsheets is preferred.

· Proper and professional etiquette when dealing with Vendors (email & phone calls)
