One Abusua Staffing, Llc in Marlton, NJ is looking for one Medical Radiation Oncology Physicist to join our staff. The position is located in Louisville, KY. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and engaged.
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
Hourly Rate: $100-$140 w/ travel stipend

Responsibilities:
The medical radiation physicist is responsible for:
The medical radiation physicist is responsible for:
- Helping to plan the course of treatment for the cancer patient under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist. This will include a review of computer applications relevant to the treatment and quality assurance mechanisms regarding dose distribution, and evaluation of treatment plans.
- Other responsibilities include a review of daily output/dose measurements, review of maintenance reports, monthly calibration of therapy equipment, overseeing the installation of new equipment and acceptance testing of same, and establishing overall quality assurance mechanisms used in the department.
- The physicist will participate in process improvement projects and prepare reports for monthly QA meetings.

Qualifications
Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required:

- MS in therapeutic medical physics or medical radiation physics
- Candidates must be either Board Certified or eligible for certification in Therapeutic Medical Physics by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). If Board eligible, candidates will be required to obtain certification within six calendar years per the ABR’s standards. Preferably, certification will be obtained within one to three years.
- Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience.
- Advanced knowledge of computerized treatment planning systems, treatment machines, and accessories.
- Strong clinical knowledge of all aspects of medical radiation physics.
- Flexible to be on call weekends and holidays, and to work above standard hours to meet staffing needs.
- Able to operate standard office equipment.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Self-motivation and ability to work well with minimal supervision.
- Experience with SRS, SBRT, Eclipse TPS, and Aria EHR preferred
