Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Insurance Agent to join our team. As an Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, analyzing insurance needs, and recommending appropriate coverage options to clients. This is a sales-oriented position that requires strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze clients' insurance needs and recommend suitable coverage options
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns
- Utilize various sales techniques, including telemarketing and market research, to expand client base
- Communicate effectively with clients, insurance carriers, and underwriters to ensure accurate policy administration
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in insurance regulations
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and meet company objectives
- Assist clients with benefits administration and claims processing as needed
Experience:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the insurance industry or related field
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with retail sales techniques and strategies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to analyze client needs and recommend appropriate insurance coverage options
- Proficient in using computer software applications for data entry and record keeping
