Facilities Support Technician
Under the direction of the Facilities Director, the Facilities Support Technician is responsible for maintaining a secure and well- functioning work environment for staff, patients and guests.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Facilities
- Manage incoming and interoffice mail and packages and deliver to respective sites.
- Manage purchase order system and update PO statuses.
- Assist Purchasing Coordinator in inventory maintenance.
- Travel for role related matters to various sites, as needed.
- Monitor ticketing system for incoming requests
- Perform basic facility repairs in, but not limited to, painting, carpentry, plumbing and electrical
- Manage and support the set up and breakdown of furniture and props for various weekly social events throughout the buildings.
- Liaison for vendors when accessing the office to conduct scheduled services.
Safety Team member
- Assist and help initiate fire drills
- Assist in inspections and audits as required
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, i.e proper inspection of fire extinguishers removal of hazardous materials from all areas accessible to employees, patients and guests, etc.
Additional Duties
- And other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Expertise in the following areas, typically gained from one year experience in a facilities/administrative role:
- Microsoft Office applications and work order management systems
- Ability to welcome direction and requests, take appropriate notes as required to execute with minimal guidance and to understand the processes in place to perform in accordance with expectations
- Self-motivated, energetic, with inherit ability to learn, and improve efficiencies through collaboration
- Driver's License, in good standing required for this role.
- Ability to perform lifting (weight varies based on product), walking, standing, climbing.

- Shipping/receiving experience
- Work in healthcare
